Privacy policy
SeniorPaw, by E Tech Studio. Last updated 11 October 2026.
The short version: what you log about your pet stays on your phone. Nothing leaves it unless you choose to share a pet with people you invite. No ads, no tracking, no analytics.
What we store
Everything you enter in SeniorPaw (your pets' details, check-ins, medicines, doses, episodes, weights, breathing rates, vet visits, photos, stickers and moments) is stored only on your device. We don't receive it and we can't see it. Your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google) may include it, under your control.
Sharing a pet (optional, Premium)
If you choose to share a pet, that pet's records and photos are stored in a private cloud database in the European Union (Supabase, Frankfurt) and kept in step with the phones of the people you invite (PowerSync). Your phone gets an anonymous ID; we don't ask for your email address or a password. The name you type when you share or join (for example "Anna") is shown to the other people sharing that pet.
- Pets you don't share never leave your phone.
- Only people you invite can see a shared pet. Invite codes work once and expire after 7 days. A pet sitter's access ends on the date the owner sets.
- The owner can stop sharing at any time. This deletes the pet's cloud copy for everyone; the owner's phone keeps its copy.
- You can delete your cloud data at any time in the app: Settings → Delete my cloud data. See Delete your data.
Supabase and PowerSync process this data only to run the sharing feature for us. Data is encrypted in transit.
Purchases
If you buy SeniorPaw Premium, Apple or Google process the payment. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history. It doesn't receive your pet data.
On-device AI and photo cut-outs
On phones that support it, SeniorPaw uses the AI built into your phone (Apple Intelligence on iPhone, Gemini Nano on Android) to write monthly summaries, lists for the vet and photo captions, and to cut your pet out of photos for stickers. This runs on your phone. Your log and photos are not sent to us or to anyone else. On Android, Google's on-device machine-learning services may send Google basic usage and performance statistics under Google's own terms; they don't send your log or your photos.
Notifications, calendar, widget and clipboard
- Reminders are scheduled on your phone. Nothing is sent to us.
- Calendar (optional). Only if you turn on "Also add to my phone's calendar", SeniorPaw adds vet visits and medicine times to your phone's calendar and updates or removes those same events when they change (on your phone, or on the phone of someone you share the pet with). It doesn't read, copy or send your other events.
- Widget. The home-screen widget shows your next medicine and vet visit from the app's storage on your phone. If you add it to your Lock Screen, people who see your phone can see it too.
- Clipboard. SeniorPaw reads your clipboard only when you tap Paste on the sticker board.
- Camera and photos. Used only when you take or choose a photo of your pet. SeniorPaw uses the system photo picker, so it sees only the photos you pick.
No tracking, no ads, no analytics
We don't track you across apps or websites, we don't show ads, and the app contains no analytics or advertising code.
Your choices
- Export all your data: Settings → Export all data.
- Delete everything: Settings → Delete all data (this also deletes any cloud copy), or delete the app.
- Children: SeniorPaw is not directed at children and we don't knowingly collect children's data.
Not veterinary advice
SeniorPaw records what you log. It doesn't diagnose or give medical advice. Always talk to your vet.
